The hotel is a 5 min walk from the train/subway station, and there is a free trolley that does a loop to and from the waterfront. The location on King Street is walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom toiletries, and the mirror has a clock built in, as well as a nightlight that turns on automatically. There is also a Keurig machine with tea and coffee pods in the room. If we'd stayed longer. We could have made use of the nice robes!

Very nice hotel in the city center. You can use wallet parking, or find a parking spot on the street in front of the hotel, in the night - free of charge. The breakfast is not served as buffet but you have nice selection to order. We were really happy about our stay. The staff on the reception was very kind and helpfull. Definitely go to see the Alexandria Old city in the evening. Worth to see it.

Easy hop, skip and a jump from both the metro/train at King St. Easy walk down to Old Town Alexandria to all the shops and eateries. Road noise was minimal and staff were perfect for my needs. Would recommend another stay in the future as I've stayed in multiple places in town. Avoids the resort fee upcharge in Old Town with only a slightly longer walk to things.

Mark

We selected this motel primarily due to location. It was close to the Amtrak and the Metro. Walking to several nice restaurants was a bonus. The decor of the lobby and room was cozy and pleasant. Bed was very comfy. The Indochen restaurant was excellent. The motel staff was very pleasant at every interaction. Everyone had a nice smile.

The hotel is modern and location was perfect for me as I chose not to rent a car. The King Street metro station is close by and just a few stops from DCA. So much is in walking distance or take the free trolley to the waterfront. The evening staff was especially nice and helpful. I would stay again next time I’m in town.
